Hashi is an EVM Header Oracle Aggregator designed to facilitate a principled approach to cross-chain bridge security. The primary insight is that most bridge-related security incidents could have had a minimal impact if the systems relying on them had built in some redundancy. In other words, requiring messages to be validated by multiple independent mechanisms, rather than just one, is much more secure.

Near is a Layer 1 blockchain optimized for Web3 mass adoption, allowing developers to implement dApps and smart contracts using Rust, JavaScript, and EVM (via Aurora).
With Near, you can build without limits. ETH Seoul-Near track is an opportunity for participants to actively implement ideas, develop capabilities, and gain valuable experience. We look forward to talented participants presenting excellent projects for the advancement of Near and Web3 Mass Adoption.

**Submission Requirements**
All submissions needs to deploy to Near Testnet and incorporate these following:
○ Project Title: A concise and descriptive name for your project.
○ Team Members: The names, roles, and contact information of all team
members involved in the project.
○ Project Description: A brief overview of your project, explaining its
purpose, features, and target audience.
○ Technical Implementation: A detailed explanation of the technologies
used, such as programming languages, libraries, and frameworks, as well
as how your project integrates with Near.
○ Demo Video: A short video (usually 2-5 minutes) showcasing your
project's functionality and key features.
○ Source Code: A link to a publicly accessible repository (e.g., GitHub)
containing your project's source code, including a README file with setup
instructions and any necessary documentation.
○ Deployment Details: Information on how to deploy and interact with your
project on Near.



Develop Near dApps specialized for Mass Adoption

## Judging Criteria*

- 🤩 **Novelty/Creativity:** Does it have unique and novel features or combine features of other products or services in a unique and novel way? Does it solve a new problem? Is it creative and puts a smile on people’s faces?
- **🚀 Potential Impact:** Does it fill a gap in the universe, and have the potential to be used frequently by a large, growing and diverse audience or market?
- **🤖 Technical Accomplishment:** Is the code elegant, clean, and technically interesting? Is the project complete?
- **🪄 FVM Implementation:** How well integrated and critical a part is FVM of your project? How well does your project leverage content addressing that is native to FVM?
- **✨Design:** How is the UX/UI/DX? Is it easy to use? If targeting developers, is the experience smooth and intuitive? Does the visual design delight you?

## Submission Guidelines

At a minimum submissions for prizes should include the following items:

**1. Project Description**

- The name and summary of the project
- Names/pseudonyms of team members and contact info (e.g., GitHub handle, email address, or other)
- How the project uses the FVM with **explicit** links to files & functions in code where this technology is used and addresses of smart contracts deployed.

**2. Link to the publicly visible source code repository**

- Provide comprehensive README, incl. a clear description of the work and mention of how our tech is used in the Technologies Used section of README.
- Include a link to the working demo or provide a testing guide

**3. Showcase**

- Optional: Short (typically 2-3 minute) video that presents the idea, including a brief demo that demonstrates the use of FVM
- If applicable, select the appropriate track when submitting the project.

## Eligibility Criteria for Prizes

- Submitting the same project across multiple hackathons will lead to disqualification.
- Projects that have been awarded Filecoin grants will not be awarded a Hackathon prize if their grant has been approved and the scope of work for the hackathon and the grant are the same.
- Only projects or features (preferably in separate branch) built specifically for the respective hackathon will be considered for prizes.
- Broken links may disqualify the project from the judging process.
- We have instituted policies to confirm payment disbursements are compliant with legally required sanctions. A list of sanctioned and otherwise restricted countries include, without limitation: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea region of Ukraine, the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic and the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic. Depending on which country a team resides, they may not be eligible to participate in our events and/or receive prize payments. We may request teams provide relevant information as necessary, and will process payments once cleared by our legal team.

You are an Ethereum developer, hacking on Ethereum mainnet, L2s, or other chain supported by Blocknative infra. You understand that for truly decentralized dapps, decentralized frontends are necessary, especially for DeFi. 

BOS (Blockchain Operating System) is the easiest way to build and deploy your frontend for any EVM chain, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Aurora, and more. Better yet, all of the frontend source code on BOS is stored on-chain on NEAR, making your frontend fully decentralized. These components can interact with your smart contracts or an existing Ethereum project, and then be embedded in your dapp or hackathon project. You can find examples on bos.gg.

There are also many components available to learn from on near.org. If you have any questions or require support, please inquire in the BOS Telegram group.

This is a great way to learn about the modular development of your dapps, and how easy it is to use BOS to deploy frontend components for any chain.

Criteria
Base Criteria (all submissions):

You must submit a link to your dapp or project with a live, working BOS Component for Liquity. The component should prompt the user to connect their Ethereum Wallet of choice (MetaMask preferred), display data (e.g. borrowed LUSD), and allow the user to make a transaction through the component (e.g., open a trove). See our Lido Component on bos.gg as an example of how a component interacts with a smart contract. 


First Place Criteria:

A live working frontend component deployed to the NEAR mainnet that interacts with Liquity on the Ethereum mainnet. Everything in production. A user connecting to the component with a wallet should be able to make a transaction on mainnet in addition to viewing data from the smart contract. The frontend should support the majority of the features in the Liquity protocol (e.g., open a trove, redeem LUSD for ETH). The submission should also include documentation of the developer experience, challenges faced, and suggestions for improvements.

TLDR; an outstanding submission has:
Comprehensiveness of functionality
Production-grade user experience
Code readability and reusability 
BONUS: provide feedback on your experience of developing with BOS
BONUS: help evangelize BOS (e.g., contribute to docs, talk about it in presentations and/or social media)
